- 12/13 Final grade has been finalized, posted on the website, and
reported to the University. We believe our final grade assignment
is fair and we take the various distractions of this semester into
consideration. The grade assignment is final. Happy holidays.
- 12/13 Final exam scores have been posted online. The average is
about 55/100 and 1.3/20 (Extra Credit). We are working on final
letter grade assignment. We will post the final grade soon.
- 12/13 We have finished grading the multiple-choice part. The
highest score for that part is 49/60, by Itell. The solution to the
PI exam is: CAAAB BDDBD BC. The solution to the SIGMA exam is:
AACAB BDDBD BC. The solution to Question 23 is C.
Note that if your answer to Question 10 is C, you will get 4
points, instead of 5. The trick is that when the subquery produces no
tuples, the main query of Q2 will list all A's while Q1 will not list
any A's.
- 12/10 Our DB server is hacked and taken down right after we
finished grading. IST systems people are working hard to bring it up
again soon. This course website is unaffected. We will post the
course grades on this site.
- 12/10 We have finalized the project grading. Most project groups
have done very impressive work, considering so much distractions we
have all experienced during this semester. It was extremely difficult for
us to complete the grading because groups are tied up so closely.
Overall, we feel that this class did much better than last year's class.
Congrats everyone!
Group 205 (Wearable Graphics)
has
been selected as the best group, with Group
202 (Edulive.org) following closely. Congratulations! Both groups are
featured on my website http://jwang.stanford.edu.
The project scores has been posted on this web site,
in the form of individual scores. Check your scores online.
- 12/7 As specified in the final exam review page:
http://wang.ist.psu.edu/course/01/IST210/file/finalreview.html
we will not cover ASP in the final exam.
